BOLO Mobile is a professional photo-sharing application and communication service designed exclusively for law enforcement agencies. The term BOLO, widely recognized among police departments, stands for "Be On the Look Out." Through this platform, members of participating police departments can efficiently share vital photos and information by capturing images in real-time or uploading them from their photo gallery.
The primary objective of this application is to leverage mobile technology to streamline the dissemination of crucial visuals among officers in the field, eliminating time-consuming manual processes and the reliance on verbal descriptions via CB Radio when a photo is readily available. This cloud-based solution utilizes encrypted internet services, providing law enforcement personnel with a secure means to share photos and information via both a mobile app and a web interface.
In addition to facilitating image sharing within their respective departments, police agencies can choose to extend this capability by opting to share photos with neighboring law enforcement bodies if they wish.
